The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
